Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage focuses on the deepest layers of your muscle fascia, tendons, and tissues. Increases range of motion helps relieve stiffness, eases inflammation, Improves circulation, and reduces minor aches, and chronic pain.

By applying firm pressure and using slow, deep strokes, deep tissue massage can help break up adhesions and knots in the muscles, allowing them to release tension and relax. This can help improve flexibility and reduce pain and discomfort in the affected areas.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage employs gentle yet firm pressure to enhance relaxation, boost circulation, alleviate muscle tension, and enhance flexibility. This classic massage technique is designed to alleviate stress, inducing a tranquil state of relaxation. Additionally, it calms the nervous system while facilitating the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the cells.

Trigger Point Therapy

What is a Trigger Point? Trigger points are defined as “a focus of hyper-irritability in a tissue that, when compressed, is locally tender and, if sufficiently hypersensitive, gives rise to referred pain and tenderness.”In other words: a trigger point is believed to be a localized spasm or knot in the muscle fiber that may cause pain to be referred to other, more distant parts of the body.

The objective of trigger point therapy is releasing or softening a muscle knot to reduce or eliminate the knot pain and associated pain. This release happens by applying various pressure levels to muscle knots, then stretching the affected areas.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a technique that entails the application of small cups to targeted areas of the body, generating suction to lift the tissue slightly. This suction creates a negative pressure environment, facilitating myofascial decompression. This process can potentially relax muscles and tissues, alleviate pain, and stimulate the body's innate healing mechanisms. Cupping is associated with various benefits, including diminished pain, reduced muscle tightness and inflammation, enhanced blood circulation, and an increased range of motion.
